A Arma

Synopsis

"THE GUN" follows Muabi and Ndoco, two teenage refugees surviving in extreme poverty by collecting garbage. Their friendship is tested when they find a pistol: the peaceful Muabi wants to hand it over to the police, but the rebellious Ndoco sees the weapon as a solution to his problems. When Muabi falls seriously ill after being mugged, Ndoco decides to use the gun to rob the woman who buys their recyclables, in a desperate attempt to save his friend. The mugging ends in tragedy when Muabi, even weakened, tries to stop the crime and ends up dead from an accidental gunshot, leaving Ndoco alone with the devastating consequences of his choice.
