A documentary that reveals an Angola filled with stories, people, and places that are shaping the future of Angolan surfing today.
To witness the development of Angolan surfing through the eyes of two Portuguese surfers, Tiago Pires and Joana Schenker, and a young Angolan surfer, Samuel Quintino, is also an opportunity to revisit the relationship between these two countries and to question the paths of development and sustainability, as well as the balance of power shaping the surf industry and surf tourism in the era of globalization.
A surf journey where encounters and stories are collected in an attempt to understand the present and ask, How does the dream of chasing the next perfect wave pave the way towards a better future?
